Hello and welcome! I’m Aleksandra Budzinska, a certified yoga teacher with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience. I offer science-informed yoga classes designed to support your mental health, physical well-being and emotional balance.

Where Yoga Meets Neuroscience

As a passionate science geek, I’ve always been fascinated by how the body and brain work together, which has led me to see how closely mental and physical health are connected, and how yoga can play a powerful role in supporting both. After doing various sports throughout my life, I discovered yoga in 2018 while searching for a way to calm my busy mind, stay active, and manage stress. What started as movement turned into a transformative journey that strengthened my nervous system, enhanced my resilience to life’s challenges, and deepened my self-awareness — effects I now understand through the lens of neuroscience.

As a teacher and scientist, I’m passionate about how ancient practices align with modern research in mindfulness, brain health and emotional well-being.

My Teaching Approach

I combine my background in neuroscience with somatic yoga, a gentle, body-led approach that helps you tune into physical sensations, release tension, and find emotional grounding. At the same time, I draw inspiration from strength-based practices to build mobility and inner vitality. My classes blend slow, mindful movement with breathwork, somatic awareness, and strength-building sequences that support both nervous system regulation and physical resilience.

I believe yoga is for everyone, whether you approach it from a physical or spiritual perspective. My goal is to share its calming, empowering effects and help you connect with your body’s unique needs, all grounded in scientific evidence.
